Creating a bright future for Nicaraguan Youth

The Nicavangelists would like to invite your church, organisation, or family to come to our development center in Managua, Nicaragua for a life-changing cross-cultural experience where you will positively impact the lives of others and have a heap of fun too!

Nicaragua is a country whose social fabric is rooted in Christianity. However, as the country has suffered through various horrendous incidents over the past 100 years, the people are in desperate physical need.

The Nicavangelists’ work will revolve around two activities; outreach and construction. We could use a hand and so we are welcoming you down to partner with us in the work we are doing.

Outreach opportunities:

  • Vacation School
  • Outreach at local public and private schools
  • Outreach to youth
  • Outreach to those in hospital
  • Outreach to youth in detention centers
  • Outreach in the barrios

Outreaches are led by your team’s leader, with the Nicavangelists troupe members assisting in logistics and collaborating with and being a part of your team.

  • Repairs to The Nicavangelists’ compound (electrical, construction, maintenance, gardening)
  • Construction of a Tricking (Gymnastics) Rancho (Grass hut)

Funds for construction activities will need to be raised by your team, prior to arrival. The Nicavangelists will assist, provide support and be a part of your team, though your team’s leader will initiate, organise and facilitate all construction activities.

The Nicavangelists’ will open their lives to you during the months of June and July. Folks can arrive and leave at any time. The cost is $50 per person, per calendar day. This price includes all local transportation, accommodation, food and equipment for outreach activities.
